Well, my name is Greg Majewski. The name of this blog came from the Isis song of the same name (one of my favorite closing songs they’ve done). I’m a junior at the University of Oregon, currently seeking a major in Journalism with a concentration in Magazine and News-Editorial. I am also minoring in English, but that only means that my love of literature has possessed me to waste more time reading that I should be using to write stories. Speaking of stories, I really don’t write many of those outside of class yet, but I do write reviews for Crave Magazine. It contains mostly hard rock/metal articles, extreme body art stuff and pieces on music in general. I’m getting paid a bit for the occasional piece that makes its way into print, so that’s a start I guess. Having said that, it’s a privilege to be doing something I love and actually being compensated for it beyond my own personal enjoyment.

Finally, the biggest life lesson I’ve learned so far is that potatoes are the perfect food because they can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
